Psychic steel clutch plates are made of JIS#G3141 carbon steel and precision flattened to prevent cable adjustment loss. The cork based plates are impregnated with an anti-swell aluminium alloy to give smooth clutch take-off and allow modulation. High-performance friction papers, with Kevlar Carbon Fibre, are also available. Precision-smoothed steel plates for more consistent oil coverage The heavy-duty springs are 10-15% stiffer to maintain greater clamping strength for the life of the clutch Anti-swell friction plates ensure smooth take-off and better modulation Carbon fibre reinforced friction plates wear longer, handle higher heat and better resist slippage vs. OEM equipment
